It doesn't look like you tin can turn that plumbing equipment - it looks like it is too shut to the back wall. Information technology was probably installed before the wallboard was installed. To unscrew it, you may need to make a hole in the wallboard of the other room. WD-twoscore won't loosen the pipe. A penetrating oil based lube might. Atomic number 82 Blaster is a good 1. Frequently, you tin can peel the old plumbing fixtures out of the elbow. They make internal piping wrenchs that would assist you plough information technology out once y'all loosened it upwardly a picayune with either heat or a penetrating oil. The other style is to have a hack saw and cut part way through from the inside. You have to be careful non to mess up the threads of the elbow, though. If yous practise two cuts near each other, and can peel that section out, the balance will come up out hands.

Get-go budgeting for a repipe...the galvanized supply lines are frequently likewise going to give you lot grief. If you can, and accept access from below, you might consider simply cutting that galvanized stuff out and substituting plastic - pvc or abs for the drains, and copper for the supply lines, depending on where you lot live (either will work, depends on the supply in your area). Also note that the drain does not have a vent, which won't meet today's code. That fitting should take a vent line coming out the top, not but be an elbow.

It's fairly unproblematic except cutting in a confined space. You desire the cut to be depression enough and so you take a decent stub to attach the no-hub connector on both the metal and a stub of pvc - you also want it to be equally straight beyond equally y'all can make it. Volition there be whatsoever room higher up the sink where you could run a vent pipe upwardly and say into th eattic that could connect to the house vent before it goes out the roof? An alternative would be to leave an access panel and use an AAV (it tin't be sealed in the wall, it needs access). Some places won't accept an AAV, but it will be improve than no vent. The trouble with what y'all accept is it is effectively an S-trap, and can become siphoned dry by other things, leaving an open path for sewer gasses, bugs, rodents, etc., that may be itch through the pipes. Keeping the trap full, stops most of that.
